5 Healthy Breakfast Ideas
You know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, it turns out breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. What we put in our bodies first thing in the morning sets us up for the rest of the day.
Don’t worry if you have no idea where to start when it comes to preparing a healthy breakfast every morning. In this post I have several recipes you can use to set up your day for success.
These recipes are beginner friendly, quick, and easy to make! Here are my favorite healthy breakfast ideas:
1. Veggie Omlette- Packed with protein and vegetables to keep you full and satisfied the rest of the day!
2. Greek Yogurt Bowl with berries- High protein, full of fiber, and antioxidants from the berries! Greek Yogurt is also great for your gut health.
3. Avocado Toast- This is one of my favorite breakfasts. Full of healthy fats and fiber to keep you full. You can also add eggs or cottage cheese to give you an extra protein boost!
4. Banana and Nut Butter Toast- This breakfast is filled with healthy carbs, fats, and proteins to give you energy to conquer the day! Add chia seeds and honey for an extra boost of fiber and antioxidants!
5. Eggs and Turkey Bacon- This is a great high protein breakfast that also tastes delicious. You can add toast or an English muffin for extra fiber and carbs.
